Hello everyone. I have a 1991 Toyota camry DX
with a 4 cyl engine. Recently a light came up on my dash saying that I had an exterior light out - Says (lights). I looked around and found the passenger side front marker bulb out. I replaced the bulb and the light went out. I then drove about 10 miles and the light went back on. I got out - checked all the lights - they are all operational. I turned thew car off and the light went out - but came on later again. Anyone have any insight into this? Thanks.... |

It is possible that there is a loose connection,
which causes the light to come on and off intermittantly, as the car hits bumps, etc. One other possibility is that your tail light could be out. My grandmother has an '89 Camry, and when her light came on, no one could find a light that was out. Finally I figured out that when the car lights were on, but you weren't actually driving it, that all of the lights looked okay, but if you press the brake, one of the brake lights would fail to come on. This is because the tail lights, and the brake lights are in the same bulb. So you may want to check that, although that wouldn't explain why it comes on intermittantly.
Good luck,
|
