Hello Fans,

I am a new member to this site and wish to introduce my car. I purchased a 2008 Camry SE v6 with the 5 speed auto transmission in Sept. 07. I now have 5000 miles on the car. The only problem experienced to date is a vibration I feel through the steering wheel while driving at 65 - 70MPH.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Car has been to the dealer 3X for the same problem. First time they found the new tires out of balance and balanced them. Vibration problem was somewhat diminished but still was present. Second time - the dealer rotated the tires and the problem again seemed somewhat diminished. However it still is there and this past weekend they did my 1st oil change and claimed to rebalance the front tires - This made the problem WORSE.

Plan is now for the dealer to replace all 4 tires with new Michelins (originals are Bridgestones).

Will keep you posted.

I have put on three pairs of new tires on my 2007 Se. I still have that same problem. I have had three different places "fix" it but it still wobbles at about 70. IDK what to do about it.

Did they check your rotors? If not, have your rotors checked. Your rotors could be warped. If so, it might be easier to have them cut, instead of buying new rotors.

I just put new rotor on my 09 xle with 67000 mile and that helped a lot. if you have a vibration while applying brakes and the vibration remains check or change the rotors.

GOOD LUCK

have it checked with hunter roadforce balance, that can tell you if it is rim or tire related
