....I have 93 XLE 88K, with a terrible brake chatter problem ...I've
gone from having "brake quiet" adhesive put on the back of semi- mettallic pads that didn't help...I then switched to premium non- organic pads(which I was told at the brake shop it would help)...It didn't...now I am told that I should try ceramic pads..but I'm a little hesitant.since from what I understand that the noise is caused by vibration that may be caused by faulty calipers ( the noise is coming from both front)...all I know is this already has cost me alot of money...anyone have any experience with this? |

Well make sure the anti-rattle clips and the anti-squeal shims were
installed when the pads were replaced. also Raysbestos Import quiet pads that are ceramic were the only iones that did npt squeak also if you get it done at Pep Boys they will fit it for FREE till it's right! |
