Hi everyone,<br><br>I got 02 camry with JBL
sound. Does anybody know anything about specifications
of this system??? please!!<br><br>Also, I am
planning to add subwoofer to this system - maybe amplified
Bazooka 6 or 8 inches - do I need a capacitor (0.5 farad)
in this case??<br><br>Thanks!

Well I have a 2001 Solara. It also came stock
with the JBL system. To be honest I have already
replaced all the components....but thats because I compete
in car audio meets...and basically replaced the
head-unit/speakers with units I already had. I am assuming that the
setup is the same with the 2002....6.5in components up
front, 6x9s in the back. There is also a stock
amp....pushing a very minimal load. You can bypass this stock
amp if you choose to add a new head unit. Cap
wise....for a point I was pushing over 1000 watts with a .5
cap. Now I have a 1 farad digital cap....and have
minimal light dimming. I would say add the bazooka and
see. I doubt you would have alot of dimming. Also,
adding a cap is very easy....so I would say just check
and see.
