People here are smoking... Critical Mass RS69 6x9 speakers are advertised to fit the camry perfectly.... specially made for the camry... best ever... blah blah. Bottom line is this... THEY DO NOT FIT AS IS.. 1) Doors... Speaker is different size than cutout and holes do not line up. CUSTOM ADAPTOR BRACKETS ARE REQUIRED!!!!! 2) Rear deck .... do not need brackets but need to drill new holes. On top of all that they dont even sound all that great and Im using an Alpine PDX-4.150 amp to power them all. I just installed the Critical Mass Audio speakers in my 2010 Toyota Camry. The RS69 fit PERFECT in the front doors, no extra adaptor is needed. All you need to do is take the factory speaker out of the factory bracket and drop in the Critical Mass speakers in. Make sure you use the factory bracket so you have a perfect seal and it will sound a million times better than stock. As for the rear deck, I installed the Critical Mass SS69 they drop into the factory location. I used foam baffles and that also helps with the mid bass and it sounds out of this world. My system sounds great and evryone that sits in my Camry loves the clean sound quality of my sound system. The fit was perfect and the sound makes me smile every day. |

It fits very well and no drilling of hole needed. But kind of agree with you that it don't even sounds that great if you compare to pioneer or JBL. The good thing is that these speaker do not crack even to the loudest volume. But If you asked me to rate I will give you rating on these speakers. I will give a score of 6.5 out of 10 points. I am disappointed about the comments about that make me buy the speakers. Now I need to get a subwoofer, amplifier and preamp plus tweeter to satisfy my needs. Not worth the peny guys. |

Sounds like a bunch spam.... for there to be such a consensus to purchase $200 -to- $600 Critical Mass door & deck speakers.
No Thanks!! I will not believe that you can't purchase a pair of painless (for install & our wallets) quality replacements speakers for our Cams. I'll keep checking for more viable advice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nahrung034.gif) "I'll drink to that" |
