Hi all.
Does anyone know if aftermarket (Pioneer/Polk) 6X9 speakers fit in the 2007 Camry SE doors? Crutchfield says that they do until I try to order them. Then they tell me that the speakers will not fit my vehicle. Please help! |

the CRITICAL MASS RS69 WILL FIT THIS CAMRY BEST. AND IT WAS RATED BY CAR AUDIO MAGAZINE AS THE BEST EVER TESTED. 160 WATT RMS, 300 PEAK.... I DID MY HOMEWORK AND FOUND OUT THIS SPEAKER IS THE BEST OF ITS CLASS. NO MOD'S TO THE DOOR, THEY JUST DROP IN. CARBON FIBER CONE, GREAT SOUND... GOOD LUCK ON YOUR CAR.

I just installed the pair in my 2009 camry, the critical mass RS69 fit great in the doors and also in the back deck. I will add an amplifier next week. I have an old ADS amp that is 4ch x 150 rms , this I am sure will make the car much louder. But to tell you the truth the critical mass 6x9 have made a huge difference to the sound quality.

This speakers worked out very nice. i just got in a pair of the ss69 for the rear deck. When i get some more cash i will buy a pair of the critical mass rs69. My friend just installed them in his car and it was him that told me that , the crtical mass speakers are the best replacement mids and hi's for the toyota camry, because they fit without cutting anything. they fit great and sound great. Well i got a pair of the ss69 for the rear and i will save up for the rs69 for the doors. I am sure there are lots of good speakers , but these aer great.

THESE SPEAKERS ARE ''SWEET'' GOOD LOOKING ON THE HEADS UP ON A GREAT PRODUCT. THE CRITICAL 6X9 COAX ARE GREAT.GOT THEM ONLINE. I had the FOCAL IN THE FRONT DOORS AND THE HERTZ IN THE BACK, AND THE SOUND WAS GOOD. THEN I HEARD MY FRIENDS 08 CAMRY WITH THE CRITICAL MASS 6X9 IN THE FRONT DOORS AND IN THE BACK, AND IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. THE MID BASS THAT THE CRITICAL MASS RS69 GAVE WAS UNREAL, IT WAS AS GOOD AS SOME 8'' MID BASS DRIVERS. THE IMAGE IN THE FRONT STAGE WAS ON POINT AND PURE. IN THE BACK DECK HE HAD THE SS69 ,THE CRISP AND SMOOTH SOUND WAS FANTASTIC. THE COMBO OF BOTH THESE SETS OF 6X9 SPEAKERS WAS THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER LISTENED TOO.THEY REALY COMPLEMENT EACHOTHER. I WORK FOR A WHEEL COMPANY AND WE GO TO ALL THE SHOWS IN THE WEST COAST AND THIS SOUND WAS BETTER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE SEEN IN THE PAST. I INSTALLED MY SET OF CRITICAL MASS 6X9 IN THE DOORS AND DECK AND HAVE A AUDISON AMP ON IT AND IT SOUNDS OUT OF THIS WORLD. PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME THAT IT SOUNDS 150 TIMES BETTER THAN THE JBL FACTORY SYSTEM. |

ITZ DEFINETLY WORTH THE MONEY.. I have the CM 6x9 in the doors and the ss69 CM in the rear. They sound great. I read about these speakers in this forum, and I went to a store heard them in person. The sound was unbealibable and clean at all volumes. I love the sound and everyone that hears my car always complements on how nice it sounds. I just got in a radio i bought on ebay that fits the car perfect. Its got dvd, nav, ipod, usb,sd,camera, tuch screen and its got lots more power than the factory radio. http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-2008-2009-TOYOTA-...id=p3286.c0.m14 |

These RS69's can be had for $200 on EBAY.There is a store that has a BIN price of $499 BUT also has a BEST OFFER option.I offered $200 and he took it!!!.He seems to have several sets so I would think he would accept $200 for other sets. Just type in RS69 and they should come up.He's the only one right now with them on Ebay.Metroholdingslimited is his username i believe. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gitara.gif)

Just installed the rs69 in the front doors, and the ss69 in the rear deck. I am incredibly happy with the sound quality and easy install. I picked these up on ebay for $389 for the rs69 and $290 for the ss69. The price was fare and I wanted the best speakers for my car. I went to my local stereo dealer and they wanted $599 for the rs69 and $369 for the ss69. I researched all the 6x9'' inch coaxial speakers and these always come up as the best. Once I heard the the demo at the shop I knew that it was what I wanted. I was really impressed with the imaging and the front stage that these speakers produce. I had the JBL factory system, but the CRITICAL MASS speakers sound much better its like night and day. It makes me feel much better to drive a car that sounds like a million bucks!!!

People here are smoking...
Critical Mass RS69 6x9 speakers are advertised to fit the camry perfectly.... specially made for the camry... best ever... blah blah. Bottom line is this... THEY DO NOT FIT AS IS.. 1) Doors... Speaker is different size than cutout and holes do not line up. CUSTOM ADAPTOR BRACKETS ARE REQUIRED!!!!! 2) Rear deck .... do not need brackets but need to drill new holes. On top of all that they dont even sound all that great and Im using an Alpine PDX-4.150 amp to power them all. |
