Airbag And Alarm Problem On 2008 Se

Last night I took my girlfriend on my 2008 SE, and noticed that the airbag indicator shows "Airbag Off". It's weird because she is about 87lbs, and she should be heavy enough to activate the airbag to turn it on. I wonder if anyone has the same problem.

Another problem I have with the car is when I press and hold the truck button on the remote control to open the truck, the alarm goes off. Is that how it is, or just my car?

Location: FLORIDA
CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT SHE IS SITTING IN THE SEAT CORRECTLY, IF SHE IS OFF CENTER IT WILL THROW THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON, ALSO THE ALARM SHOULD NOT GO OFF
