I drive my 98 Camry V-6, it has only
23,000.
The brakes made a grinding noise. I took it to the
Dealer and they replaced the brakes and machined the
rotors. Is that common for the Camry at 23,000 or that
I'm puttin pressure on the brakes with my "driving"?
I would like anyones input on this. Some say my
driving caused this...
Thanks for your honesty.

yeah, it's normal. Toyota Camry pads are
typically softer, thus quieter and wear faster, I just
recently replaced my front pads after 25K miles (88 V6)
and I seldomly slam the brakes, and usually engine
brake down to a stop (5-speed manual)

tan
