Hello all,
I am new to the forum so excuse me if the answer is there but I haven't found it. My dome light can be turned on by the switch but isn't controlled by the door for any position of the switch. How to fix or trouble shoot? |

Sounds like a stuck door switch.

Yea your internal switch could be stuck down. If its an easy removal then just remove the dome light cover and see whats going on in there. |

My dome light can be turned on by the switch but isn't controlled by the door for any position of the switch. How to fix or trouble shoot? I think the light should be controlled by any of the doors. Run the test for all the doors. Besides that the most probable single point of failure would be the contacts in the main switch . See if it comes apart easily for some cleaning with a light steel wool or solvent. |
