Does anyone have suggestions for fogs for a gen4, where you don't have to cut
the lower front grill? And how easy is it to install/wire yourself?

Thanks, for the info, did you have these
installed or did you do it yourself? If a self install, was
it difficult? How did you mount the fogs in the
grill. Does the lights include instructions on wiring
info. Did you use a OEM switch for the dash. Thanks in
advance for any help. Also does anyone know if these
foglights are sold in Ottawa,Canada, and for how much.

i had a shop did it. they welded/mounted custom
metal tubes, two on each light. the fogs are not
inbetween the grills. they are behind the grill, but just
at the right level so the lights are not blocked by
the grill, thus making it useless. the switch came
with catz. i'll see if i can take a picture of it.

Pillot has a model that will fit between the ribs
without cutting. Also Toyota has fog lamps (made by
Hella) that came with full instruction, templates for
mounting and cutting and wire harness. Isn't to hard to
install. If you are technical inclined it's easy to do it
yourself. Prices:
Toyota Camry Kit $282
Toyota Camry
Pre-assembled harness $48.87
Toyota Camry In Dash Switch
part# 00550-35976 $14.35
Also PIAA has good lamps
but is a pain to install them.
I have PIAA 959
Projector Series Ion lamp that are big and very powerful
(85W each) but you have to cut the plastic bumper
without a template and to make a mounting bracket that
attaches the lamps to the metal bumper. It's a custom job
that took me two full days of hard work (including
painting). If you go to a shop they'll be able to do it
quickly but it'll cost you.

Burien Toyota (206)
243-0700 has good prices on Toyota parts and PIAA lamps.

I miss to say that I use the Toyota switch (fit nice in the dash) and Toyota
harness w/ the PIAA lamps. I got the wiring instructions from a friend that
works for Toyota.
