Hello all, I have finally gotten a set of white-faced gauges for my Gen4. There are three pictures of them, one showing the dash without the gauges, one day time shot, and one night time shot. The night shot is a bit unclear, and it lights up a little better than what the photo shows. However, talking with MMR, they do NOT recommend putting the hyperwhite bulbs in the dash because they will get too hot behind the dash. This is the second set I received from them, still wrong. First set sent was for a Gen3, this set, without the Chinese/Japanese numerical characters for the speedometer and tachometer. But they have guaranteed me that this final set, being made again, will be the correct one. Overall, I'm still happy with MMR since they have been very courteous in accommodating the errors.

Doh...I forgot to mentioned that the pictures are located in the Inside View of Camry, under the Photos link. I've also included two night time shots of the Sylvania Cool Blue and FET Catz MSX lights in the Front View of Camry.

Did you encounter any problems when you installed the gauges? Did you have to have any of the gauges recalibrated?

No problems in installing the gauges. The only hard part was getting the indicator needles off since they are on there pretty tight. The recommendation was to use a spoon and go around the needle base to pry it off. I found that rather hard, so I took the 3 separate units off from the back, and used a small screwdriver and pushed the needles off. Since I'm waiting for the final, and hopefully, correct set to come it, I will recalibrate then.

Are you getting them recalibrated at a dealership?? How much?? I'm thinking about changing my gauges also. But I want to make sure I know what I'm getting into first. Thanks.

Well, I called my dealership and they said that since it's not OEM, i.e. Toyota, the outside company who does the recalibration will not service it. I'll have to ask another dealership to make sure that's correct. Otherwise, I'll have to find a shop that will do it.

The pictures are under "Inside View of Camry" from the Photos link. I got the green on white gauges. The instruction that came with it is a very general one, so, it didn't really help much. It does not tell you how to remove the dash either.
