Since you didn't mention anything about dropping
your Camry those wheels will fit just fine. My 93 V6
is dropped 2in with 17's on it and they fit just
fine. Actually I still have about an inch of gap in the
back so I'm about to go 18 to cover
it.

Anyways, I run either Falkens Ziex or Kuhmo Ecsta 712's on
my ride and both are awesome. They both stick
great(I know this from my own personal
"testing"...hahaha)and have pretty good wear on them. The size I use is
235/45/17. I was going to run 40 series but the wall is to
low so if I accidently hit something in the road
there's a greater chance they'll bubble up and pop or
just plain go flat...45's aren't to high or low so
they were the ideal size. If you want to see what it
looks like check out my pics under "Project 93 Camry"
in the photo section.

Well I'm out so I hope
this information helps.

Steve

Hey,
Thanks for the info. I really dont want
to drop the car since I am in NYC. POTHOLES!!!! I
was told that I can get away with 215/50-17 max from
TireRack. I want the Kumho's but they only come in 215/45
and 225/45. I do want some "meat" on the rubber so
the lowest I would go is 45. Meanwhile I went to
Yokohama's website and they said I could use a 235/45-17. Go
figure. I just want some "meat" on the rims and also no
wheel well rubbing when I turn. Do you know if I should
also invest is a strut tower bar if I go with a wider
wheel?

Thanks again!

Hi there!!!

I don't know who you told you
that about the Kuhmo's but they're wrong. I know for a
fact the Ecsta 712's come in 235/45/17 becaue that's
what I'm rolling right now:)

As for the tower
bar. I wouldn't buy one unless you drive like a mad
man like me...hahaha. I take turns at pretty high
speeds so I bought it to help keep my car planted more
firmly and decrease body roll, and I can tell you from
"personal testing" that it does work:) In case you were
wondering mine is made by Freedom Design.

Well I'm
out so until next time, take care:)

Steve

My mistake, I meant that they didnt make 235/50
or 225/50. I think I am gonna go with the 235/45's
as long as they arent gonna rub the wells when I
turn and stuff like that. Has anyone heard anything
good or bad about the McGard SplineDrive Tuner
lugs?

Thanks
