Hello,

Here is the page to my car. It is a
show car and all those mods were done last yr for the
first time so it is still the baby of my imagination...
now I am getting in more customization. If you guys
have any creative ideas or links about a better/mo
aggressive front body kit, let me know what else I could do
to my car. Note: Do not get an extreme kit, it is of
poor quality and does not fit the car as it is
supposed
to.

<a href=http://gibsonfamily.dhs.org:81/camry/antikitsch/

Hey nice job! I'm personally not a fan of the
Extreme. I've always liked the simplicity of the Molly
Designs/TRD body kit. You may want to look at the Black Widow
front for your Gen4. How about the R34 front end
conversion like the Techna Camry. Ever think of getting a
Fiber Images Carbon Fiber Hood? Also...where did you
get your turbo kit from? E-mail me if you have
questions or comments.

-Ryan
TeamSC3-Founding

hey,

i visited your page and saw your
interior mods list. i've got a carbon fiber dash kit in my
car and a carbon fiber theme with my 98 toyota camry
le....i've been looking for a carbon fiber automatic shift
knob and e-brake to match my interior...i've been able
to find a couple of auto carbon fiber shift knobs
but the biggest problem is that darn "overdrive
button." my question is (assuming you solved that problem)
where can i find the same shift knob you have and
e-brake. also if yours doesn't have the O/D then do you
know if i could either for-go it or maybe just buy a
separate switch to connect to it?...help...thanks for your
time and prompt response

michael

Haha... thank you..making me blush :-) Really I
don't think my camry is all that and going to be liked
by everybody which I understand because there's a
particular style to it (people might say it's overdone
etc...). But I have always liked cars and hooking up a
Camry is an uncommon challenging project to me. The
award-> the uniqueness and speed power! ;-) Thankz for
the support.

Leslie,
Toyotrenz-Founder.

Yep I 've been thinkin' about the black widow but
still lookin' for maybe better ones. The quality and
aggressiveness of the bumper is what I look for. The extreme
front bumper is a mess! Since Techna Camry already did
it, I would look for another idea... but I do admit I
am impressed ! Great work!
The carbon fiber hood
was $450 but since the color of my car was midnite
blue, I thought it was best to leave the hood stock
(for car show)until I get my turbo and race the car,
then I'll get one for its light weight (for race
show).
The turbo kit is customed just like my team mate who
has a Rav4. The guy JT is the founder of the White
TRD Camry 4 cyl. turbocharged... that eventually blew
because of abuse :-) JT now owns his shop called Maxx
auto work instead of working with TRD.
The Rav4
stock was going 21 sec. quarter mile automatic trans
and now with its customed turbo charge, it goes hi 14
sec quarter mile... didn't blow yet ;-)
Now my car
with the turbo charge would go 10 sec. quarter mile.
If I get a race car suspension, it would go 9 sec.
But because of the high mileage on my car, I need to
rebuild the engine 1st and then put the turbo kit. You
guys gonna hate me for this but I got my car @ 19 yrs
old and got an AUTOMATIC trans (wasn't thinking of
hooking it up in 1998/ so much traffic in
Seattle).

Leslie,
Toyotrenz-Founder.

I don't think you can go so far to turbo a 5S-FE
without doing alot of internal work for it. Examining the
Burien Turbo project within our club...and one of our
tuners..EL Prototypes, we saw some flaws in the design and
choice of parts for that turbo. I give the dude credit
because most of our 5S-FE guys were inspired to get that
turbo. A Camry has a long way from touching 10seconds in
the quarter mile. You should see the 3S-GTE project
my friend is doing to his 92 Camry LE that once had
a 5S-FE and automatic. EL Prototypes
(www.elprototypes.com) will be releasing it soon with a full J-spec Mr2
3S-GTE conversion w/5spd and the first to be powered by
the Apex'i Power FC! Here are some of the
pics:

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4292291283

One more
thing...would you guys up in the NW be
interested in driving to So Cal for an event we are making
for Toyota owners from all over? Somewhat like the
All Toyota Owners Meets in Nor Cal...but with a
larger group and vendor support? We are planning this
event in April or possibly in the Summer. e-mail me if
you are
interested.

Thanks,
Ryan
Yahoo!Clubs NewCamryPerformanceSite -

I apologize for being not so clear about the
turbo kit but it is a project so there will be chances
that it will blow, but I take my chance since my Camry
will become my project car and not a daily driven car
anymore. Safe driving the 5S-Fe would go 13 sec quarter
mile on the Camry. Now that white Camry that JT worked
on blew going to 10 sec... My goal is to get his
turbokit to go 10 sec. JT can get the turbo to 13 sec
w/out any problem... but for higher speed, then
problems will be encountered. We are also looking for
other alternatives to it in Japan.
Don't give me
wrong, The Rav 4 is still on an ongoing project. my team
mate put $4000 to put the turbo in but now another
$2000 is needed to tune it, many mo' parts need to be
added etc... But hey... once you get into it, you just
want more and more... never done. Street racing, The
Rav is kicking great (fast acceleration)! but we want
to put it to a new higher level= drag racing where
he can maintain a high speed. The Rav 4 earned its
credit in the car show already so it's going to get into
the drag race scene. Crazy project!! Here's a picture
of
it:

http://members.asianavenue.com/mocharacer/hinrav.jpg

We
have planned to come down to one of the car
show In Cali just for fun this summer so it would be
great to know of ur All Toyota event.

Thank you
for ur elaborate info
;-)

Leslie,
Toyotrenz-Founder.

I'm sorry ...But, I have to say bullshit to the
10 sec. ... Please their isnt a Camry that has run
anything faster than a 13 sec. right now and I do remember
talking to Ray Meeks and he said 14's was the fastest
they got before blowin' up the engine ... come on
think about it... they was running what 12 to 16 psi of
boost on a 5S-FE with a small t3 and your saying they
was running 10's... And only making 340hp to the
flywheel... Give me a break ... I guess I'm doing all the
wrong stuff to my camry to achive 10sec
timeslips...

I'm sorry the most powerfull 5S-FE I know of is from
a guy with screen name of TEC2RM he has a MR2 with
a 5S-FE turbo charged w/ a T70 turbo and making 494
to the wheels... And his running 11's... so go
figure... A camry only running 12 to 16 pounds of boost
going faster than him when his boosting 22 to 27 pounds
of boost...

Sorry Can someone raise the B.S.
Flag Please...
This is why tuner's dont do shit for
us camry people cuz 80% of us are sooo gullible...
