How can I reset the maintaince required light on my 2007 Camry XLE. Oil change was done at recommended mileage.

Yes. It should tell you in your owner's manual how to reset the timer which will turn that light off.

This was the recomendation of forum member "VWTOY01" I do believe in giving due credit....
On the 2007 Camrys. To reset the Maint. light you must first make sure that the odometer is on Trip A. After that turn the key off, hold down the odometer button and turn the key to the ON position while holding the button. Dashes will come up on the odometer display and start to dissappear like a count down. After they dissappear, all zeros will appear and now the light is reset. On the 2007 Camrys w/ Smart key. Put the odometer on Trip A. Turn the car off, hold down the odometer button and without putting your foot on the brake, push the start button twice while holding down the odometer button and watch the display. It will speak for itself. Let me know how you guys make out I tried it out, and it works |
