Am I not understanding this recall correctly? If all it takes is not putting on another floor mat on top of factory floor mat and securing the factory floor mat to the hooks on the floor board, why is this recall necessary? Does this mean all 07 Camry owners are entitle to a brand new set of floor mats?

What this is about is the snow and mud mats are not being installed right. They have hooks and if not hooked right the mat can slide foward and jam your gas pedal and you are out of control at full throttle.
The same thing can happen with after market mats being placed on top of your stock mats. I guess the pedal is very close to the floor and it can jam easly.
