I have done VERY little performance wise: cone filter on stock intake and muffler. I was wondering what should I do next? a cpu chip? get the full short ram intake set up? new spark plugs? what? any help/opinions will be appreciated.

Copper plugs are good for performance, but don't last as long (10K miles). Synthetic Oil (Royal Purple, Amsoil, etc...) will free up some HP. Chip is good, but if you decide to step up to a power adder, you would need to have it modified again especially if you want nitrous. I haven't done a thing to my Camry (2001 V6) since most of my money is going to my Camaro, but that doesn't keep me from planning. I've come up with 3 plans for the Camry from moderate to semi-extreme. 1.) Bolt-ons: The typical intake with K&N, cat-back, Random Tech high flow catback, pullies if I can find them, free mods, lowering springs and wheels/tires. 2.) Supercharger: Boltons with the TRD supercharger. I would use all the bolt-ons in conjunction with the SC and ofcourse a chip that is burned for this. I don't think that there are a variety of blower pullies out yet, but if I could get my hands on one I would change injectors and up the boost on the SC. I just need to find the tolerances on the pistons and bottom end for this motor. 3.) SC and Nitrous: I would stick with the stock pully on the supercharger and add a dry shot of N20 in through the intake and MAF. The shot would vary depending on piston tolerances. A 25 shot would do ok, I would think. This should do wonders with a roots type SC. It would cause an intercooling effect inside the blower and result in better horsepower. Injectors would need to be changed out and maybe add an auxilary inline fuel pump. These are all just a result of brainstorming, so nothing has been proven and the last one could make your engine go "POP". The tranny would need to be reinforced and traction would be a problem. Sorry for the long ass post, but I hope this helps. Johnny
