Hey,
What type of paint would work best in painting plastics?? I want to
take the trim off and paint it. But I'm afraid that if I hit it, it
will scratch off and I'll be pissed!!
Thankz for any help in advance!!!
Peace,
Kendel

well, you mean like trim inside your car? If so, they make paint
specially designed for the interior.

I have a gold camry and I used the spray cans off the shelf to paint
the trd body kit I bought. The gold doesn't exactly match perfectly
but it does match the rear bumper I had to have replaced
professionally after a lady hit me so go figure. All in all it looks
well but it is really hard to match that metal pearl flake paint
stuff that the gold paint is. The paint itself has held up really
really well. I was worried that it would chip off easily but it
doesn't possibly because i went a little overboard with the clearcoat
but it paid off. Basically there isn't much to worry about if you put
enough coats. I ended up putting 3-4 coats of each the base pearl and
top clearcoat which may be too much but I wanted it durable.
