Does anyone know of any other engine that will fit into a generation 3 Camry? If so, can you please let me know. I've been trying to find an answer but nobody seems to know.

Steve

I don't know the answer to that, I'm still trying to find out if a 95-96 Supra engine can work in my 96 Camry. If you find anything out...please post it here. I'll do the same!!!

Does the 3S-GTE make that big of a difference over having the stock V6? I figure that if there is a stock V6 that some other 6 should be able to go in there...somehow! I won't rest until I know for sure. You don't know how badly I want a Supra engine in my Camry. WHEW!!!!

LOL! ya that would be fast as hell! I really don't know the diffrence that it makes, some places that I look tell me it makes 200 hp and others 250 hp so I really don't know, there should be another V6 that can drop in but I don't know what that would be, I don't really see why not a Supra engine, but I'll keep lookin

PJ

Well of course I would have to go with the twin turbo version so I can get as many ponies up under the hood as possible. I've already imagined the faces of folks in their Eclipses, Mustangs, MX-6's, Milleniums...etc. Simply priceless. How many folks would imagine a lil ol Camry gettin up like THAT! LOL Anyway, any info you can find out would be greatly appreciated. Hell, I saw in a prominent car mag where a mustang V-8 was shoehorned into a Mazda Miata...I figure a Supra in-line 6 should be cool too!
