I think I mentioned in another post how impressed my husband and I are with how quiet our 2007 Camry is. Everyone who has ridden in it comments on the quiet too. I want to share something that happened yesterday when we were about to exit the car.
My husband usually has to sit a minute behind the wheel while I pick up my purse on put on my lipstick, or something. This time I was just sitting there waiting for him. After about 30 seconds, I said, "aren't you going to turn off the car?" We both laughed. It really is easy to not even notice that it is running. |

Both my sister-in-law and mother-in-law have Camrys. I swear they bought them so they can sneak up on us. They've made it in our driveway and through the door without us hearing them!
I love their cars, we have a Corolla, but we are considering trading it in for a Camry. |

I have a 2004 Camry. And, while it is quiet... it is nothing compared to the 2007 model! I have taken one for a test drive just to drool. I need to wait a few years before getting my next Camry, but I CANNOT wait!
I was in my friend's brand new Camry and I couldn't get over the complete lack of noise whatsoever! |

It really is amazing. You can talk on the phone (as a passenger) and hear the other person well. That's something I couldn't do as a passenger in our old Ford. That thing made a lot of noise and still does. We kept it so my son could use it.

Yes, I agree they are very quiet. I love quiet cars especially if yoiu can't even hear them running.
