i just got my 07' LE, and i was curious if there is anyone out there that has a subwoofer in their trunk. i am about to get a system but i am indecisive on the sub woofer box placement, ie: where in the trunk would be the best place to put the box...down fire sub, sub facing towards the front of car, sub facing rear of car...etc.

any input is greatly appreciated.

yeaa i have an 09 camry with two cerwinvega 10's in a ported box and regarding the placement it depends on the subs usually most car works the best with the subs facing towards the trunk but for mine it worked alot better with the subs facing upright so u have to try things out

PERSONALLY I HAVE THREE SOLOBARIC L7 12 IN IN A CUSTOM BOX THAT PORTS THE SOUND THRU A COUPLE OF PORTS FROM THE REAR DECKAND THE WAY THEY PUT IT IN YOU CANT EVEN TELL I HAVE A BOX UNTIL I TURN IT ON BECAUSE I KEPT MY STOCK STEREO AND I HAVE NO Rattle at all

AND IN REGARDS TO THE PLACEMENT IT DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF SPEAKER FREE AIR, SEALED TYPE, BAFFLE TYPE,PORTED TYPE IF YOU WANT MAXIMUM BANG YOUR BUCK GO WITH A NICE R.FOSGATE 12 IN IN A NICELY SEALED ENCLOSURE POINTING TOWARDS THE REAR OF YOUR CAR ALL THE GLASS AND BELLS AND WHISTLES ARE SIMPLY FOR LOOKS A SEALED BOX WILL GIVE YOU MUCH MUCH SPL"PRESSURE" IN RETURN GIVING YOUY MORE SOUND
