I was wondering if anyone has specs on accl times for a SCed V6 4th Gen Camrys. 0-60, 1/4 etc. Does anyone actually have the SC here? What have you Dynoed? I noticed that not many places list the other pulley sizes...is that b/c it cant handle much more than the 4-5 lbs of boost offered? How much boost can it handle...safely...and how much can the tranny take and still perform normally. Thanks...Later.

I just got one put in my 97 5 speed. I have not done 0-60, BUT I did perform an in gear test that is MORE reliable and translates well to 0-60 and Qtr times ( which are driver skill dependent). I ran the car in 3rd gear from 4000-6000 rpm..that's 60-90 (for those with AT). My time BEFORE the SC was (ave) 7.4 sec. With the SC I now get 5.9 ave. That's a 1.5 sec improvement. This would also be the amount of improvement one could expect both in the 0-60 and Qtr. The published 0-60 without the SC (for 5 speeds) is around 7.3 and the Qtr times are in the 15.5 range. I would thus expect that the SC (5 speed) would be at least a 6.0 and 14.0 car..given a very good driver! I would est the HP at a solid 250 (fly wheel).

I love it..it's very quiet and is VERY fast. I got into a "stop light" drag race with a new (2000?) Pontiac Trans Am..AT I think..and edged it out to 60mph. That car has 310HP BUT..is probably 200 lbs heavier than my CE and it was AT..so we should be pretty even in performance.

Oh..the boost is 4lbs...they are looking at increasing hp with other pully's...personally I would not go beyond an upgrade of 5-6 lbs for 260-280 hp. With the current set up, the drive train should be very reliable...since it was extensively tested at 4 lbs.

Well worth the money!
