Hey all, I ordered a TRD air filter for my Camry
that drops in the factory box. It says it lets 50%
more air in. Realistically, am I getting any increase
in HP? THere aren't many aftermarket intake pipes
for the Camry...

turbo magazine (i think, or some other big import
mag) did a test of the trd filter on the 01' mr2, it
resulted in an average hp gain of 0.2hp, with peak gains
between 1-2 hp. 50% more air? i don't know if that's true
or not, but even if it is, don't think that means
50% more air is getting to your engine, that's like
turbo amounts.
