Just joined forum, as I just bought my first Camry - 2011 XLE 2.4
Long-time Honda owner, but not liking what Honda is currently doing with their designs and the lesser quality materials throughout. Got a good deal on the Camry and it drives better and is quieter than the Accord. Have only filled gas once, but looks like the computer mileage may run ~10% high. Is this common to Camry's? |

Having owned a Tacoma and 2 Camrys, I can attest that the spedo is off by 2 mph. It is well documented on the net that they are all this way. If you were to compare your MPH to that of your GPS, you will find that the claim is correct. I do not however know if the error is in the odometer as well as the speedometer. I do not know why this is, but it is never the less and may contribute to your issue. |

Your post sparked my curiousity and I just happened to fill my tank to the top and reset the odometer last fill up. Today I refilled, I ran my tank down within 8 miles of empty according to my heads up display.
My display reads 24.1 MPG, my calculation revealed 21.35 MPG .... again hugely disappointed in this I4 so far! |
