My '97 Camry has developed a vibration/rattle somewhere in the dash. Any
suggestions as to how to identify and get rid of it?

If your confident enough, take apart the dash.

I believe I've the same problem, but I am not
quite sure as mine is more of a creaking noise emitting
from the driver side. I found that the noise came from
where the black plastic piece (the piece with the vent
shooting towards the side window) met the dash. It seems
that the two pieces are rubbing against each other
causing the creaking noise. I have yet to fix it since I
don't want to go through the hassle.
