strange smell |

I've noticed for some time that my 95 camry V6 LE has a strange smell
only when I get some extra gas on the highway or when I accelerate
quickly. Its like a sulfur type of smell. I was wondering if this is
a common problem with high mileage engines or just something else?

i have that smell also but on a 4cyl. with only 50,000 miles on it.
if u find out anything about it let me know...

Common in 4 cyl cars but never hear ppl talk about in in V6.
I think it has something to do with the Gas. North American gas
contains considerably higher amounts of Sulfur than Gas in Japan.
Design Flaw? Could be, that is why this doesn't occur in Domestics?
DUNNO, just guessing.
