Your car can not be fitted with TRD supercharger, because it is for 97+ V6.

Since your 96 has the 1MZ-FE V6, you cannot use the strut bar fom a 95 4cyl model. The bar will not clear the intake plenum of the 1MZ-FE V6. The S/C will not work with your car because the ECU in your vehicle is not programmed to recognize it. The TRD S/C is only avalilable for 1MZ-FE V6 applications for 97-01 Camry, Solara 99-01 and Sienna 98-00 only.

Good Luck!
Ryan
TeamSC? - Founding Member
Southern California Camry Club
www.teamsc3.com

hello Ryan, thanks for your input. I was wondering, would i be able to upgrade my ecu to the current model's compability, so that I would be able to add on a s/c? I have on a camry enthusiast's web site, seen a '94 camry, V6, with a supercharger added on, which had me wondering also. Please let me know, thanks Ron

Ron,

Which website is this? E-mail me the URL. I don't think you would be able to upgrade your ECU to the newer models but you can find someone to remap your ECU. E.L. Prototypes, Azusa,CA does ECU reprogramming. You might want to ask them. Check out our website under "LINKS" and find them there.

Good Luck!
Ryan
TeamSC? - Southern California
www.teamsc3.com
